What To Consider When Choosing A Hand Sanitizer

What To Consider When Choosing A Hand Sanitizer

With COVID-19 still on the rise, many companies have been coming out with different hand sanitizers. With a lot of them being quickly and mass produced, these hand sanitizers are often not made with top quality ingredients. It is so important to see what is in the product that you're purchasing as you are going to be using it multiple times a day. Here are a few things you should look out for when you decide to purchase hand sanitizer:

1. Choose a safe active ingredient

Ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol are both safe options for active ingredients. Both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the CDC recommend sanitizers containing alcohol at concentrations of at least 60%.

Páme Care uses a 70% isopropyl alcohol, making it very safe for use to prevent germs.

2. Choose safe inactive ingredients

Hand sanitizers contain additional ingredients beyond just the active ingredients. These are called inactive ingredients and may be listed separately on the label.

It is also important to look for ingredients that are beneficial for your hands, such as aloe vera and glycerin.

Páme Care is made of premium ingredients, offering you a superior experience as compared to ordinary hand sanitizers. Our hand sanitizers include aloe vera, glycerin, castor oil, and vitamin E to keep your hands protected, moisturized, and smelling great on the go!

3. Avoid undisclosed fragrances

Companies are not required to disclose fragrance on their packaging, which means that “fragrance” on packaging could potentially be a cocktail of hundreds of ingredients. Though some ingredients may be harmless, it’s best to avoid undisclosed fragrances. Without the mention of fragrance, it's difficult to know what's inside.

Páme Care offers premium scents to match your needs, check out our 6 incredible fragrances!

4. Avoid artificial dyes

Artificial Dyes are commonly derived from petroleum and can be added to foods, cosmetics, and personal care products such as hand sanitizers. You may recognize dyes on the packaging of conventional products as one of the few words on the ingredient list you can recognize and pronounce.

Stay safe and choose a premium hand sanitizer! Your hands will thank you.
